FAQ
MAP is a cultural infrastructure initiative using murals, storytelling, artist collaboration, youth engagement, and digital access to make Liberian stories visible in public space.
MAP begins with pilot development and public launch activity in 2026, with mural installations, cultural activations, and digital mural experiences growing in phases.
Artists, youth creatives, community partners, cultural institutions, sponsors, and diaspora collaborators can get involved through partnerships, activations, documentation, and creative exchange.
The project is engaging founding artists, Co-Create, emerging creatives, and diaspora-connected artists through collaboration, mentorship, concept development, and future exchange opportunities.
Support can include financial contributions, in-kind resources, technical expertise, institutional partnerships, advocacy, artist support, cultural exchange, and collaborative programming. Email partnerships@monroviaartproject.org.
MAP is designed for public access: murals, digital stories, community activations, talks, exhibitions, and visitor experiences will connect residents and guests to Liberia's cultural landscape.
Monrovia is becoming West Africa's cultural gateway through art, community, and creative enterprise. Join the movement.
